Chemical Testing by Spectrometer

Accurate Chemical Composition Analysis of Metals & Alloys

Test Scope

Overview

Chemical composition analysis is a critical requirement for identifying material grades, verifying raw materials, ensuring product quality, and evaluating compliance with applicable material standards. At GMETL, we provide accurate and reliable chemical analysis of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals and Alloys using advanced CCD-Based Optical Emission Spectrometry (CCD-OES) technology. Optical Emission Spectrometry is a highly precise analytical technique used for the quantitative determination of metallic elements present in a sample. During testing, a controlled electrical spark is generated on the sample surface, causing atoms to become excited and emit light at characteristic wavelengths.
